❤️ Heart Health Month – Protecting Our Hearts, Strengthening Our Community ❤️

During the month of February, we recognize American Heart Health Month, a time dedicated to raising awareness about cardiovascular health and encouraging our communities to take proactive steps toward healthier living.

The Brothers of the Columbus (GA) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. remain committed to promoting wellness, education, and service beyond the walls of our chapter. Heart disease continues to be one of the leading health concerns impacting our communities, particularly among African American men and families. Through awareness and prevention, we can make a lasting difference.

This month, we encourage everyone to take small but meaningful steps toward better heart health:

✔️ Schedule regular health screenings
✔️ Stay physically active
✔️ Maintain a balanced diet
✔️ Manage stress and prioritize mental wellness
✔️ Know your numbers — blood pressure, cholesterol, and glucose levels

❤️ Join us by wearing RED every Friday in February to raise awareness and show support for heart health within our community. Together, we can spark conversations, encourage prevention, and promote healthier lifestyles.

Healthy hearts build stronger families, stronger leaders, and stronger communities. Let us continue to look out for one another by promoting healthy lifestyles and encouraging accountability among brothers, family, and friends.

Achievement in Every Field of Human Endeavor includes taking care of our health.
